Christmas break will bring five solid weeks of powering down our brains and switching off our focus.  As a team, we need to fight against this urge of apathy and use this precious free time to continue to learn, grow, and bond together.  I know this semester has kept us waiting for our applications to be processed.  However, we must remain engaged to be ready to kick start in the spring.

You will get a text message when one of the leadership posts on the blog with challenges and resources that will be useful for all of us.  We want to set the stage to start a conversation.  Let’s dialogue about what we’re reading.  Please visit the blog, read up, and comment so you will continue to be an active participant in what is happening with LCU Prison Ministry.  The conversations won’t be hard, but so relevant to what we need to know come January.

Do your part and take initiative.  You won’t regret it.  Until then, Happy Christmas!
